Bid Manager

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and manage internal and external stakeholders and bid tools.
• Develop bid management processes, costing tools, bid templates, and business solution offerings.
• Plan resources and bid activities with operational, business development, and group stakeholders.
• Manage the bid pipeline and opportunities in line with the growth plan.
• Promote company products and services through bespoke solutions addressing or anticipating client objectives.
• Prepare compliant bid responses with appropriate risk management and adherence to laws, regulations, pricing policy, and business ethics.
• Manage bid, sales, and business development reporting tools and prepare monthly growth reports by country and sector.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Direct estimating and proposal teams to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and deliver consistent propositions across borders and sectors.
• Manage resources and develop entry-level staff into effective bid teams.

Requirements

• Experience managing bid development from inception to completion.
• Experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders across bid activities.
• Experience managing estimating and proposal teams.
• Ability to manage bid, sales, and business development reporting tools.
• Understanding of pricing policy, business ethics, local laws, rules, and regulations affecting bids.
