About the role

Responsibilities

• Build and optimise Power BI reports, dashboards and data models for self-service analytics.
• Translate business requirements into reporting solutions and maintain ETL/ELT processes, SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Monitor data quality, implement validation, document reporting assets and support users with queries and training.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams, improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency, and follow governance, security and compliance standards.

Essential skills and experience

• Power BI dashboard and report development; knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
• Strong SQL, including query writing and performance optimisation; experience building and maintaining data models.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT and data warehousing; experience with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, clear communication, collaboration and ability to manage priorities and deadlines.

Desirable experience

• Microsoft data platform experience is desirable.
• Experience with Databricks or GBQ, Python or other data analysis languages, data governance, or row-level security is desirable.

Working arrangement

• Hybrid working after training: three days a week in the office and two days at home.
