Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day behavior treatment and psychological testing functions for consumers with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or severe and persistent mental illnesses.
• Interpret and implement Medicaid requirements and MDHHS technical requirement updates and revisions.
• Serve as Behavior Treatment Committee chairperson.
• Perform utilization management reviews of Applied Behavior Analysis service requests to ensure medical necessity.
• Maintain a caseload of consumers with Behavior Treatment Plans and monitor accordingly.
• Provide education and clinical guidance to consumers, families, provider agencies, and clinicians on behavior treatment best practices and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in clinical psychology.
• At least three years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or severe and persistent mental illness.
• Two or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Licensure and certification

• Michigan Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure or certification is required.
