Position overview

Beauty therapy duties

• Assess skin conditions and medical histories; explain procedures and provide personalized treatment plans.
• Administer facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other aesthetic treatments.
• Maintain treatment-area hygiene, client records, treatment logs, appointments, and follow-up assessments.
• Handle client inquiries professionally, assist with supplies and inventory, and collaborate to improve service quality.
• Stay informed about beauty and laser technologies and attend training and workshops.

Laser therapy duties

• Operate lasers safely, maintain a safe treatment area, and perform procedures within certification, competency, or licensing scope.
• Perform hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and other laser treatments in accordance with DHA protocols.
• Cover reflective surfaces, obtain informed consent, and provide patients with safety instructions.
• Attend laser safety training and monitor client responses, adjusting procedures when needed.
• Report hazards, changes in conditions, potential exposures, and accidents to the supervisor and relevant employee health contact.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma in Beauty Therapy or related field and completion of an accredited laser technician program.
• DHA License and Basic Life Support (BLS) Certificate.
• At least two years of experience as a Beauty Therapist/Laser Technician in a luxury hospital or clinic setting.
• Knowledge of laser technologies, aesthetic treatments, and JCIA standards.
• Additional advanced aesthetic treatment certifications are preferred.

Skills and languages

• Communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are required.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required; spoken and written Arabic is preferred.
