Full-time, on-site Beach Lifeguard position based in Thuwal.
The role monitors beach and swimming areas, protects visitors, and responds to emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Observe water and weather conditions, enforce safety rules, and give clear instructions to beachgoers.
- Perform rescues and provide first aid as needed; coordinate with emergency services when appropriate.
- Inspect safety equipment, maintain clean and organized lifeguard stations, and complete incident and activity reports.
- Work with colleagues and supervisors to uphold safety standards and a positive, respectful environment.
Qualifications
- Strong swimming and water-rescue skills, including confidence in open-water environments.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic life support; current lifesaving certifications are highly preferred.
- Situational awareness, risk assessment, clear calm communication, and ability to remain alert and active outdoors for extended periods.
- Follow safety protocols, company policies, and international best practices; demonstrate professional conduct and customer service.
- Previous lifeguard, aquatic safety, or coastal facility experience is an advantage; high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
