Role overview

Bartending and guest service

• Maintain clean and organized bar areas; slice and pit fruit for drink garnishes.
• Check customer identification to verify age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Prepare and serve drink and food orders; where applicable, take orders and serve and clear food and beverages for bar and lounge guests.
• Issue guest checks and complete the payment process.
• Identify and manage intoxicated guests according to established standards.
• Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels, assist with beverage inventory, and finish side work before shift end.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to improve overall satisfaction.
• Follow HHM’s EarthView sustainability guidelines and safe work practices, including protective equipment and MSDS and OSHA standards.

Background and skills

• Previous bartending or mixologist experience is required, or equivalent training.
• High school diploma preferred; TIPS certification is a plus.
• Food Sanitation certificate is a plus and is required within 90 days of employment.

Work context

• Work schedule varies and may include holidays, weekends, and different shifts.
• Work requires extended standing, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
