Bartender

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities: Beverage Preparation & Service

• Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Recommend drinks and menu items to guests based on their preferences.
• Ensure consistency in beverage presentation and taste.
• Monitor beverage inventory and report shortages to management.
• Maintain proper storage and handling of all beverages and ingredients.

Guest Service

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and attentive service.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience.

Operations & Compliance

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and utensils.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages in accordance with UAE regulations and company policies.
• Accurately process orders and payments through the POS system.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation where required.

Inventory Management

• Conduct daily stock checks and inventory counts.
• Minimize wastage and report breakages or discrepancies.
• Assist with receiving and organizing beverage deliveries.
• Ensure stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.

Qualifications & Requirements Essential

• Previous experience as a bartender in a restaurant, café, hotel, bar, or hospitality establishment.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, coffee beverages, and beverage presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred

• Hospitality or beverage-related certification.
• Knowledge of inventory control and beverage costing.
• Experience using POS systems.
• Familiarity with UAE hospitality standards and regulations.
