Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare drinks according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences.
• Welcome guests, take orders, and recommend beverages or signature cocktails.
• Maintain drink quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Keep the bar area, glassware, and equipment clean and organized.
• Monitor guest behavior and follow responsible alcohol-service policies.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and supply rotation.
• Coordinate with colleagues and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to maximize guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender or bar-staff experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktails, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and attention to detail.
