This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at Wooden Coffee in Riyadh.
The Barista prepares and serves a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages to consistent quality standards, follows recipes, and operates espresso machines and related equipment safely.
Responsibilities
include taking orders, handling payments at the register, and maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation and guest area in line with food safety guidelines.
The Barista engages with guests in a friendly, professional manner, answering questions about the menu and making recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
The role also involves restocking supplies, supporting opening and closing procedures, and collaborating with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during peak and off-peak hours.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create a welcoming and positive guest experience.
- Barista skills, including basic knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso-based drinks, and equipment handling.
- Clear Communication skills for interacting with guests, teammates, and supervisors in a professional manner.
- Food Preparation skills with an understanding of hygiene, safety standards, and basic kitchen practices.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry moderate weights, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for handling cash, POS systems, and order accuracy.
- Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and collaborative teamwork.
