Barista
About This Role
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Barista to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing coffee and a variety of beverages from our menu, operating the cash register, placing supply orders, and ensuring each customer enjoys a great experience. A positive attitude and strong upselling skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages according to recipes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Handle cash, card, and mobile payments at the register
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Use upselling techniques to promote menu items and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders from suppliers as needed
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
