Barista/Cashier
About This Role
1. Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc.)
- Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently
- Adjust grind, dosage, and extraction for quality
2. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
- Recommend menu items and upsell when appropriate
- Handle complaints politely and professionally
3. Cash Handling & POS
- Operate the cash register / POS system
- Process payments (cash, card, digital)
- Maintain accurate billing and receipts
4. Cleanliness & Hygiene
- Keep the work area, coffee machines, and seating area clean
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards
- Wash utensils and maintain sanitation
5. Equipment Handling
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders safely
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Report any faults or issues immediately
6. Stock Management
- Monitor inventory (coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, etc.)
- Refill stock and inform supervisor when supplies are low
7. Teamwork
- Work closely with other staff to ensure smooth operations
- Support colleagues during busy hours
8. Opening & Closing Duties
- Set up station before opening (machine calibration, prep work)
- Clean and shut down equipment at closing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
Work Location: On the road
