Potential responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, banking data, market information, and performance indicators.
- Prepare reports, assess financial performance, and identify trends, risks, and business opportunities for banking analyst work.
- Coordinate account servicing, payment processing, transaction monitoring, reconciliations, and operational documentation for banking operations work.
- Support financial modeling, valuation analysis, transaction research, and presentations for investment banking and corporate finance activities.
- Review financial documents for completeness, accuracy, and consistency; collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Support due diligence, risk assessments, and regulatory documentation; maintain records and recommend workflow and reporting improvements.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in finance, banking, economics, accounting, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Relevant experience in banking, financial analysis, banking operations, or investment banking, depending on the position.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, numerical analysis, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling tools are an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, accuracy, problem-solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Handle sensitive financial information with discretion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with banking regulations, KYC/AML procedures, or valuation methodologies is beneficial where relevant.
- CFA or other relevant professional qualifications are an advantage, depending on the role.
