General Responsibilities

• Unload and break down deliveries and maintain an organized stockroom.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe working environment.
• Follow all company policies, food-safety procedures, sanitation requirements, and applicable government regulations.
• Properly handle expired, damaged, or recalled products according to the supervisor's instructions.
• Use ingredients and materials efficiently to minimize product waste.
• Help safeguard department products, supplies, equipment, and other company assets.
• Participate in product demonstrations and promotional activities when assigned.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and other team members to support department operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous bakery, baking, cake-decorating, food-preparation, retail, or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Baker and Cake Decorator candidates should have relevant experience or knowledge related to the position.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established procedures.
• Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Good time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on department and training needs.

Compensation

• The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour. This range is a general guideline and does not guarantee compensation. Additional factors considered when extending an offer include, but are not limited to, the position's responsibilities and the candidate's education, skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
