Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and support Java backend services and APIs.
- Analyze requirements and formalize technical implementation approaches.
- Develop middleware services end to end using test-driven development.
- Use JUnit tests to achieve more than 80% code coverage.
- Handle penetration-testing scenarios and deliver high-quality, bug-free releases.
- Protect user data and application integrity with security measures; keep informed about vulnerabilities and mitigations.

- Java skills include object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, Java 8 or later, Java 21, lambda expressions, Stream API, and REST services; Kotlin and Groovy are also listed.
