An Oracle APEX Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX, focusing on delivering effective technical solutions that meet business requirements.
Application Development
: Design, develop, and implement applications using Oracle APEX, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet business needs.
Collaboration
: Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Maintenance and Support
: Maintain and enhance existing Oracle APEX applications, ensuring their performance, security, and reliability.
Documentation
: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed applications, including user guides and technical specifications.
Troubleshooting
: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for application issues, ensuring timely resolution.
Performance Tuning
: Continuously identify opportunities for application improvements and performance tuning.
Educational Background
: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
Experience
: Proven experience in Oracle APEX development, with a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills
: Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL, as well as familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Analytical Skills
- : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex issues effectively.
- Application Development: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable web and mobile applications using Oracle APEX and AI-assisted development tools.
- Database Programming: Write complex SQL queries and develop stored procedures, packages, and triggers using PL/SQL.
- Requirements & Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design user interfaces (UX/UI), and create data models.
- Modernization: Migrate legacy systems (Oracle Forms, Excel, Access) to modern, browser-based Oracle APEX applications.
- Integration: Utilize REST APIs to consume external services and integrate with other SaaS platforms.
- Testing & Support: Troubleshoot bugs, debug applications, and provide technical support.
