About This Role

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Back-Office Operator to join Braemar Securities Limited at our Dubai office.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who can work well in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy.

This role offers an opportunity to join one of the top leading shipbroking companies in the industry at an exciting time of company growth and expansion, with potential career development.

Responsibilities

  • of the role include:
  • Supporting trade execution and optimising operational processes.
  • Order management on electronic platforms
  • Monitoring and managing trade settlement and reconciliation.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Identifying and mitigating operational risks.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of operational procedures.
  • Providing excellent service to external clients.
  • Participating in special projects as required
  • The successful candidate will undertake training in London, followed by a permanent move to Dubai.

Job Requirements

  • We are seeking a candidate that is quick thinking, numerate and self-sufficient.
  • The successful candidate must be IT literate and good with numbers.
  • They must also be decisive and able to convey messages and instructions clearly.
  • You will also need to be a people person, a strong team player with a willing to learn.
  • Flexibility is essential, as well as being focused with excellent attention to detail.
  • You must also be proactive, showing good initiative and possess:
  • Excellent people & communication skills
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets is advantageous.
  • Work well under pressure
  • Good timekeeper
  • Fast and accurate with numbers and at data Inputting
  • Accurate, organised, efficient.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel is Advantageous.
