Back End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer - Python to join our dynamic engineering team.

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for our core products.

You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our backend services, from architectural design to deployment and ongoing optimization.

1. 7+ years of experience in backend software development, with a proven track record of building and deploying scalable systems.

2.

Expert proficiency in python programming

3.

Building REST API using FastApi framework

4.

Strong expertise in database design, optimization, and administration (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra).

5.

Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

6.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.

7.

Experience with message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis).

8.

Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

9.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Secure Coding Practices: Understanding of common web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10) and how to prevent them in backend code, along with secure authentication and authorization implementation.

Vulnerability Awareness: Familiarity with Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) and their impact, as well as general vulnerability assessment and mitigation.

Threat Intelligence & Mapping: Basic understanding of threat intelligence concepts and methodologies like surface attack mapping to identify potential attack vectors.

4.

Security Tooling & Process Awareness: Familiarity with tools like CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and asset management platforms (e.g., Axonius), alongside an understanding of basic SOC (Security Operations Center) processes and incident response.

5.

Indicators of Compromise (IOCs): Basic understanding of IOCs and their role in security monitoring and detection.

6.

Data Security: Knowledge of data encryption (at rest and in transit), secure data handling, and privacy principles.

7.

Security Logging & Monitoring: Awareness of best practices for security-relevant logging, auditing, and system monitoring.

Relevant industry certifications (e.g., GCP Certified Developer, AWS Developer Associate).

2.

Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Go, Java, Node.js).

Contributions to open-source projects.
