Job Title : Finishing Hand – Underground Utilities Location : Mesa, AZ

Pay : Starting $38 and up based on experience Dependent on years of experience and job stability demonstrated on resume

Job Description: We’re looking for a Finishing Hand with experience in underground utilities to join our crew.

This role is key to wrapping up projects the right way — you’ll be responsible for restoring job sites, final grading, and helping prep for inspections and project close-out.

• Perform final grading, backfill, and compaction to meet job specs

• Set and adjust utility structures like manhole rings/lids and valve boxes to final grade

• Assist with cleanup and job site restoration before inspections

• Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and ready for turnover

• Work closely with foremen and inspectors to ensure punch lists are completed

• Over 5 years of experience operating a motor grader to create smooth, level surfaces on construction sites
• Proven experience operating finish blade equipment in civil construction
• Strong understanding of grading, slopes, and finish tolerances
• Ability to read grade stakes and follow site plans
• Safety-focused, dependable, and able to work in a team environment
