Practical information

• Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Work arrangement: Hybrid.
• Reports to the P&C Operation Team Lead – MEA.
• Contract type: Full-time.
• Valid visa for KSA is required.
• Fluent or professional English and Arabic, written and verbal, are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and qualify AWS leads for technical, commercial, and financial viability.
• Collaborate with Technical Architects on cost-effective AWS solutions for infrastructure, data and AI, and application modernization.
• Lead cloud financial management discussions and find savings through rightsizing, architecture improvements, and AWS pricing models.
• Manage technical sales from discovery through RFPs, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Deliver presentations and technical demos to C-level executives, explaining the economic value of cloud migration.
• Conduct AWS Well-Architected Reviews focused on cost optimization.
• Develop service and cost models showing ROI, TCO, and business impact for local clients.

Job requirements

• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, WAF, EKS/ECS, and Data & AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Compute Optimizer, and Budgets.
• Ability to optimize cloud spend using Savings Plans, Reserved Instances, Spot Instances, and storage tiering.
• Understanding of the MEA cloud market and regional regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Experience in cloud presales, strategic cloud consulting, or FinOps roles.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification is required; FinOps Practitioner certification is a plus.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to translate technical and financial data into business insights.
