Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain the data layer, including source onboarding, transformations, datasets, and data quality controls.
  • Implement cleansing, profiling, lineage tracking, and reconciliation processes.
  • Establish defect-to-rule traceability and monitoring.

Required Skills

  • Strong SQL skills, ideally Trino/Athena dialects.
  • AWS
  • ETL/ELT architecture and implementation experience.
  • Data modeling and schema evolution management.
  • Data quality frameworks and observability tooling.
  • Experience with declarative YAML-based metadata and transformation specifications.
  • Additionally, one or more of these skills
  • Semantic Layers and Knowledge Graphs
  • Ontology-driven Analytics
  • Data Virtualization and Federated Query Architectures
  • Natural Language Analytics / Text-to-SQL
  • AWS and Databricks ecosystems
  • Enterprise Data Governance
  • Modern AI-assisted analytical platforms
  • Experience with graph data bases
