Role overview
Cielo7 is hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer to build, deploy, and troubleshoot AWS environments.
The role takes projects from initial assessment through implementation and handover.
Areas of work
- Work on AWS landing zones, multi-account environments, and governance.
- Assess datacentres and carry out migrations and cutovers.
- Work across cloud and hybrid networking, containers, Amazon WorkSpaces, and application infrastructure.
- Use Terraform, automation, and CI/CD; address security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cost optimisation.
Required experience and skills
- Bring 4+ years of relevant infrastructure and cloud experience with strong hands-on AWS delivery skills.
- Be comfortable with Terraform, AWS networking, IAM, Git, and scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Provide clear documentation, troubleshoot in a structured way, and explain technical decisions.
Useful experience and certifications
- Large-scale VMware migrations, enterprise firewalls, Helm, Prometheus, or Grafana experience would be useful.
- Relevant AWS Associate or Professional certifications are desirable.
