Avionics Technician

Education and Experience:

• Skills and Abilities: - Must be multi-task/project oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced industry meeting established timelines.- Excellent verbal, writing, listening and interpersonal skills to interact with all functional levels of internal contacts.- Detail orientated and organized.- Computer literate. and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Willing to work additional hours when operational objectives require it.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking in order to make judgment calls- Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision.
• Physical Requirements - While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, and handle objects. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull, stack, reach above shoulder level or carry light-weight materials.
• Safety Hazards of the job - Exposure to hazardous chemicals, abrasive blast residue, paint fumes, high pitch sound may occur.- Personal Protective Equipment required in specified areas.
