Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audio Visual (AV) Specialist to join our team. The AV Specialist is responsible for ensuring high-quality audio and visual experiences during meetings, events, and conferences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, operating, and troubleshooting complex AV systems, including video conferencing (Teams/Zoom), sound systems, display technologies, and control systems

Key Responsibilities

• System Setup & Operation: Set up, configure, test, and operate audio-visual equipment—including projectors, displays, microphones, soundboards, lighting, and video switching equipment—for corporate events, town halls, and daily meetings.
• Event Support: Provide on-site, real-time technical support during live events and high-profile video conferences to ensure flawless execution.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical faults related to AV, CATV, and IPTV systems in real-time, minimizing downtime.
• Video Conferencing: Manage virtual and hybrid meeting technology, specifically Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams, and Webex systems.
• Maintenance & Inventory: Perform routine preventive maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of AV hardware. Maintain accurate inventory logs of AV equipment.
• User Training: Provide training and documentation to staff and clients on the proper operation of conference room technology.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with IT, facilities, and external vendors to integrate AV systems with existing network infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in AV technical support, event production, or similar roles.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of signal flow (audio/video), video switching, and control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, QSC).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Media Technology, or a related field.
• Certifications: [Optional but Preferred] Certified Technology Specialist (CTS).
• Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly under pressure.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, as required by event schedules.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AV over IP technologies (Dante, NVX).
• Experience with lighting control systems and basic lighting operation.
