Automotive Painter

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and priming as necessary.
• Mix, match, and apply paint and other protective coatings to vehicles and parts.
• Select and use materials that are appropriate for the task, ensuring color accuracy and finish quality.
• Operate painting equipment safely and effectively, including spray guns and booths.
• Repair minor dents and imperfections in surfaces before painting.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with bodywork technicians and other team members to meet production deadlines.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in automotive painting and refinishing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive painting program is preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive painter or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of paint mixing and application techniques.
• Familiarity with different types of finishes and coatings.
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

• Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
