Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle surfaces to determine the extent of prep work and paint required.
- Perform full surface preparation, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming body panels.
- Mix, match, and apply paint and clear coats to meet exact color specifications and manufacturer standards.
- Operate and maintain professional spray guns, paint booths, and other refinishing equipment.
- Inspect finished work to ensure a flawless, dust-free finish (buffing and polishing as needed).
- Ensure high-quality standards and strict adherence to workshop safety procedures (handling of chemicals, PPE, ventilation).
Requirements
- Proven experience as an automotive painter or spray technician (minimum 3 years preferred).
- Expert knowledge of automotive paint types, color matching, and mixing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver a factory-quality finish.
- Familiarity with modern dent repair preparation and body filler techniques is a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills.
