Job Title: Business Development Manager – Advanced Robotics & Automation
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven BDM to lead market expansion for our portfolio of next-generation robotics, including quadruped robots, biomimetic robots, autonomous service platforms, industrial articulated arms, and lightweight collaborative systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Territory Ownership: Penetrate high-growth sectors such as security & inspection, hospitality, logistics, precision manufacturing, and R&D labs.
· Full Sales Cycle: Manage complex, multi-stakeholder deals (CapEx up to $1.5M+), including demo-based selling, ROI modeling, and contract negotiation.
· Solution Selling: Architect hybrid solutions that combine heavy-payload industrial arms, torque-sensitive cobots, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for smart factories.
· Ecosystem Development: Build partnerships with system integrators and technology providers in Industry 4.0, humanoid R&D, and AI-driven automation.
Qualifications
· Experience: 5+ years selling industrial articulation, torque-controlled cobots, quadrupedal robots, or service automation platforms.
· Track Record: Proven success selling into automotive, electronics, warehousing, or commercial service sectors.
· Technical Fluency: Ability to discuss force sensing, payload capacity, ROS/OS environments, and safety-certified automation.
· Skills: Hunter mentality, technical objection handling, and partner channel development.
