Role description
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions to improve product quality, test efficiency, and release confidence.
Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Analyze test results and identify, document, and track software defects.
- Improve test coverage and optimize automation processes.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in software quality and testing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, test methodologies, and quality assurance processes.
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or similar.
- Familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Robot Framework, or an equivalent test automation tool.
- Understanding of API testing, web or application testing, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for technical and cross-functional collaboration.
- Proactive interest in automation, continuous improvement, and emerging testing technologies.
