The opportunity
The Automation and Tooling Engineer builds digital capabilities for the Transformation Office, including intelligent automation, governance platforms, AI-enabled workflows, reporting automation, and self-service tools.
Role responsibilities
- Design digital solutions and business applications supporting governance, executive reporting, resource planning, and strategic programs.
- Automate manual processes and integrate AI into reporting, workflows, content generation, decision-making, and knowledge management.
- Build governance and reporting tools for milestones, risks, dependencies, actions, and executive decision logs.
- Collaborate across business and technology teams and integrate solutions with enterprise platforms.
- Support adoption through enablement materials, onboarding, and stakeholder feedback.
- Establish development standards, automation frameworks, documentation, and governance practices; identify modernization opportunities.
Required qualifications
- 5–8 years in automation engineering, business systems, digital transformation, solution development, or technology consulting within a global technology or SaaS organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience delivering enterprise automation solutions and translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong Microsoft Power Platform and low-code/no-code development expertise.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, web services, connectors, middleware, and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Teams.
- Hands-on AI automation experience and knowledge of SQL, data integration, reporting automation, and cloud platforms.
- Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or C#; familiarity with Agile, DevOps, integration architecture, API management, or RPA is requested.
Preferred qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience building enterprise applications for governance, portfolio management, project management, or business operations is preferred.
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation, strategic programs, or large-scale modernization initiatives is preferred.
