Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Prepare 2D technical, shop, and fabrication drawings for event structures and exhibition stands.
• Detail structural steel connections, including bolted and welded connections.
• Prepare assembly drawings, installation details, and connection drawings.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, design specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to support accurate fabrication and installation drawings.
• Revise drawings based on engineering comments and design changes.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and meet project requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications and requirements

• A diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in structural steel, fabrication, events, or exhibitions is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 2D technical drafting.
• Good understanding of steel structures, connection detailing, and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, deadline management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Experience with exhibition stands, temporary structures, steel frameworks, and structural steel connections is advantageous.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as AED 1,900–3,000 per month; salary is also described as negotiable based on experience.

Work location

• Work location is Al Nahda, Dubai, UAE.
• Work is in person.
