Position overview
The Draftsman prepares accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed layouts supporting manufacturing and project execution.
The role focuses on joinery, furniture detailing, and interior fit-out drawings.
Key responsibilities
- Produce shop drawings for joinery, loose furniture, and fit-out works.
- Prepare layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
- Coordinate with design, production, and project management teams.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Revise drawings based on comments and site requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of similar interior fit-out or joinery experience; Dubai experience is preferable.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; SketchUp, Revit, or 3D experience is a plus.
- Strong technical understanding of materials, joinery details, and production requirements.
- Hospitality project experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
