AutoCAD Designer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD.
• Prepare technical, production, fabrication, and installation drawings.
• Develop layouts, dimensions, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings.
• Translate concepts and design requirements into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with production, project, NPD, and engineering teams.
• Modify drawings based on site measurements, production requirements, and client feedback.
• Prepare manufacturing- and installation-ready drawings; maintain drawing records and revisions.
• Ensure drawing accuracy, dimensions, specifications, and quality; support design changes and technical solutions.

Required skills and experience

• 2–4 years of experience.
• Advanced AutoCAD knowledge; strong 2D drafting and basic-to-good 3D modeling skills.
• Knowledge of technical and engineering drawings, production/fabrication drawings, layout and dimensioning, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings; knowledge of MS Office.

Preferred knowledge

• Experience in interior products, acoustic products, furniture, manufacturing, or engineering is preferred.
• SolidWorks, SketchUp, or 3ds Max knowledge is an added advantage.
• Understanding of CNC, fabrication, and manufacturing processes and basic product-development and engineering concepts is preferred.

Pay and benefits

• Pay is ₹30,000–₹45,000 per month.
