Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by removing dirt or grease and ensuring they are ready for painting.
- Remove old paint with liquid paint remover, a scraper, or other effective techniques.
- Inspect vehicle parts to determine whether they need replacement, protection, or sanding.
- Maintain hand tools and the paint booth, including replacing filters and fan belts when necessary.
- Mix paint colors to match the vehicle's original color.
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces with spray guns.
- Wet-sand and buff painted surfaces after they dry.
- Mask vehicle sections with tape and paper to ensure accurate painting, including when applying multiple colors.
Pay
