We are looking for an
Authorities’ Liaison Officer
for a government affiliated entity based in the UAE.
Location
– Sharjah, UAE
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
- 3–5 years’ experience in liaison roles with Sharjah authorities for real estate projects.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Strong knowledge of UAE codes, Sharjah submission systems, and authority procedures.
- Experience with Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defense, Etisalat, and related bodies.
- Skilled in documentation management and regulatory workflows.
Job Accountabilities
- Coordinate with authorities (Sharjah Municipality, SEWA, Civil Defense, RTA, etc.) for project-related permits, approvals, and inspections.
- Advise internal teams on local codes, procedures, and regulatory timelines from initiation through completion.
- Track and follow up on authority submissions including building permits, excavation, utility NOCs, and certificates of completion.
- Support design teams in integrating authority feedback and requirements into submissions.
- Facilitate on-site inspections and resolve authority-related construction delays.
- Maintain central documentation and approval logs for all authority interactions.
- Prepare and submit project updates and approval status reports to Project Managers and senior leadership.
- Ensure proper closure and documentation of all authority approvals during handover and post-completion phases.
