Overview

  • We are currently looking for External Auditor to join our Audit Team and help our clients meet their reporting requirements by providing an objective and independent examination of their financial statements.
  • You will also be involved in discussions with the Team Leader on accounting and reporting matters and providing a robust and transparent perspective to audit committees so that our clients can effectively respond to regulatory reforms and improve their business operations.
  • The key responsibilities would be the following:
  • Planning and executing external audits of clients' financial statements in accordance and compliance with various applicable laws, accounting principles, Accounting Standards, Audit & Assurance Standards, and analysis of financial assertions.
  • Assessing the accuracy, completeness, and validity of financial records and transactions.
  • Identifying and communicating financial reporting issues and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Reviewing and testing internal controls to ensure the effectiveness of risk management and governance processes.
  • Preparing audit reports and presenting findings to clients and management.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified/ pursuing CA/ACCA.
  • You ideally have prior experience in a similar role within a reputed accounting/audit firm.
  • You have a strong knowledge of IFRS and understanding of audit process and procedures.
  • Knowledge in UAE Corporate Tax and VAT.
  • Review financial statements and tax audits in detail to identify and correct discrepancies
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
  • You are result oriented, and organized, can prioritize effectively, and multi-task to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment.
  • You possess good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with different stakeholders.
  • Candidate should be inside UAE and available for immediate interview and joining (in case selected).

Experience

  • Similar role: 3 years (Preferred)
