Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced **Auditor** with strong exposure to healthcare regulatory environments, particularly facilities governed by the **Department of Health – Abu Dhabi**.
This role focuses on candidates with specialized **preferred experience** in accreditation readiness, regulatory inspections, and healthcare quality systems across hospitals, clinics, and specialized healthcare facilities.
The successful candidate will bring hands-on experience working with recognized healthcare standards such as **Joint Commission International** and **International Organization for Standardization**, supporting healthcare facilities in achieving and maintaining compliance excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits aligned with **Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DOH)** regulatory frameworks and healthcare facility standards.
- Evaluate healthcare facilities for readiness against accreditation requirements such as **JCI** and **ISO** standards.
- Review quality management systems, infection control programs, patient safety initiatives, and operational compliance frameworks.
- Lead mock inspections and accreditation readiness assessments across healthcare facilities.
- Identify regulatory and accreditation gaps and provide structured corrective action recommendations.
- Monitor closure of audit findings and validate effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Provide advisory support to facility leadership on improving compliance maturity and accreditation readiness.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DOH circulars, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Support development and implementation of internal quality assurance programs.
- Utilize audit management tools and compliance tracking systems to document findings and monitor performance trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Quality Management, or related field.
- Professional certification preferred:
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
• Internal Auditor Certification
- Minimum **4–6 years** of healthcare audit or compliance experience.
- Demonstrated involvement in accreditation or regulatory readiness programs.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance, risk management, and quality assurance systems.
Core Focus: Preferred Experience
Candidates with the following **preferred experience** will be strongly prioritized:
1. DOH Regulatory Experience
- Direct experience working with standards issued by the **Department of Health – Abu Dhabi**.
- Participation in DOH inspections, licensing processes, or regulatory compliance programs.
- Experience conducting internal audits aligned with DOH facility licensing requirements.
- Familiarity with DOH Health Facility Guidelines, policies, and inspection methodologies.
2. Healthcare Accreditation Experience
- Hands-on involvement in accreditation processes with recognized bodies such as:
- **Joint Commission International**
- **International Organization for Standardization** (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 15189)
- Experience supporting facilities during accreditation surveys and re-accreditation cycles.
- Conducting mock accreditation surveys and readiness gap assessments.
- Development and monitoring of accreditation compliance plans.
3. Healthcare Facility Experience
- Previous experience working within:
- Hospitals
- Medical centers
- Outpatient clinics
- Specialty healthcare facilities
- Exposure to multi-disciplinary clinical environments.
- Understanding of healthcare workflows including patient safety, infection control, and clinical governance.
Experience
- Implementation or maintenance of structured Quality Management Systems.
- Development of policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Conducting internal quality audits aligned with ISO or healthcare accreditation standards.
- Participation in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
5. Audit Systems and Compliance Tools
- Experience using audit or compliance tracking software platforms.
- Managing audit schedules, findings logs, and CAPA tracking systems.
- Generating dashboards and compliance performance reports.
- Utilizing digital tools to monitor compliance metrics across facilities.
6. Risk and Inspection Readiness Experience
- Conducting risk assessments within healthcare facilities.
- Leading inspection readiness programs for regulatory visits.
- Supporting corrective action management and root cause analysis.
- Experience minimizing repeat audit findings and improving compliance outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a healthcare compliance professional who has **direct exposure to DOH-regulated facilities**, hands-on **accreditation readiness experience**, and demonstrated ability to support facilities in achieving compliance with **JCI**, **ISO**, and national healthcare standards.
