Audit Manager

Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager / Finance Manager to lead and manage audit engagements, oversee audit teams, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international auditing standards.
• The ideal candidate will have significant audit experience in Dubai/UAE, strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements, and a proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality audit services.
• **Key Responsibilities*** Plan, manage, and execute audit engagements for a portfolio of clients.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor audit teams to ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Review financial statements and audit working papers in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
• Assess internal controls, identify risks, and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, including corporate tax and VAT regulations.
• Review and finalize audit reports and management letters.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Support business development and client acquisition initiatives.
• Stay updated on changes in UAE laws, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
• **Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or CIA.
• 10–15 years of audit experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Previous experience in a managerial role within an audit or accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of:

• + **International Standards on Auditing (ISA)**
• + **UAE Corporate Tax regulations**
• + **UAE VAT regulations**
• + **UAE Commercial Companies Law**
• Experience managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
