Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Audit & Accounts Officer with **prior experience in the manpower or recruitment industry**.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling accounting operations, financial reporting, internal auditing, commission verification, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor daily accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.
- Verify employee commissions, incentives, and manpower-related financial transactions.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of invoices, receipts, contracts, and financial records.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense monitoring.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
- Prepare VAT filings and other statutory financial reports as required.
- Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to improve financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local financial regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in auditing and accounting, preferably in a manpower or recruitment company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, commission processing, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in GCC/UAE manpower industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of labor supply financial processes and compliance requirements.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus.
