Role Description
The Audio Visual – ELV Presales Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh.
The role involves working closely with the sales team and clients to understand project requirements, design AV and ELV solutions, and prepare technical proposals, BOQs, and system diagrams.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site surveys, supporting solution presentations and demonstrations, and coordinating with engineering and integration teams to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards.
The Presales Engineer will respond to technical inquiries, assist in tender preparation, and provide technical support during the pre- and post-sales phases.
This role requires regular interaction with vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to optimize solutions and maintain high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong presales and solution design skills, with experience in Audio Visual and ELV systems.
- Knowledge of integration and security solutions, including CCTV, access control, and related systems.
- Ability to provide technical support and collaborate effectively with sales and engineering teams.
- Background in sales engineering or technical consulting within AV, ELV, or low current systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in reading drawings and preparing system schematics, BOQs, and technical documentation.
- Good command of English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant vendor certifications or training in AV, ELV, or security systems are preferred.
