About the Role

Audiologist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, ethical, and high-quality audiology services.
• Perform audiological assessments, diagnosis, and management of hearing and balance disorders.
• Deliver patient-centered care in alignment with clinical best practices.
• Monitor, assess, and mitigate clinical risks associated with patient care.
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, quality standards, and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate, clear, and complete patient records in the electronic medical system.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training initiatives.
• Support education and knowledge-sharing with junior staff and colleagues.
• Uphold integrity and professionalism in all interactions with patients and team members.

Essential Experience

• 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in Audiology clinical practice.

Desired Experience

• At least 1 year of experience at Audiology Specialist level (as recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties – SCFHS).

Essential Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Audiology or Speech & Hearing Sciences.
• Valid professional classification and registration with SCFHS.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Desired Education

• Specialty-specific certifications or advanced training in audiology.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Knowledge of clinical audit standards and quality processes.
• Ability to support training of students and junior colleagues.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office.
• Strong patient-centered approach and ethical practice.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change, and manage professional relationships.
• Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to perform under pressure.
