  • SCOPE: To support secondary school athletic programs with athletic training services through the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute or chronic injuries and medical conditions.
  • QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED: • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field • Valid Florida Educators’ Professional, Temporary or Career & Technical Education Certification.
  • PREFERRED/DESIRED: • Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field • Two years of occupational experience
  • CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING: REQUIRED: • Current certification through NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) and BOC (Board of Certification) • Hold or be eligible for a valid Athletic Trainer license issued by the Florida Board of Athletic Training • Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification • Valid Florida Driver’s license
