Assistant Front Office Manager
supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and compliance with brand standards.
This role plays a key part in guest satisfaction, team supervision, and smooth coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily Front Office operations including Reception, Guest Relations, Concierge, and Bell Desk
- Ensure a seamless guest arrival and departure experience
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally
- Supervise, train, and motivate front office team members
- Support scheduling, duty rosters, and attendance management
- Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and rate integrity
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, and F&B teams
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and UAE hospitality regulations
- Assist in revenue optimization through upselling and cross-selling initiatives
- Prepare reports related to guest satisfaction, occupancy, and operational performance
- Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of Front Office experience in a hotel or hospitality environment
- Prior experience as Assistant Front Office Manager / Front Office Supervisor preferred
- Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
- Good leadership and team management ability
- Experience with hotel PMS systems (Opera or similar preferred)
- Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Well-groomed, professional, and guest-oriented personality
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- UAE experience preferred
