Associate Underwriter

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and industry designations – CPCU or AMIM preferred
• Minimum 3 years of current underwriting/insurance experience –concentration in Inland Marine products including Builder’s Risk preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective time and desk management, balancing a large book of renewal business
• Able to work collaboratively and prioritize in a matrix environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• PC and Microsoft Office Products proficient, Excel skills in particular
• The pay range for the role is $73,000 to $107,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
