Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• To create and manage research projects across multiple research lines for the research center in Political Sciences, including thesis production, research methods, and seminars.
• Contribute to various committees at the program, center, and university levels.
• Contribute to the research profile of the center through research publications.
• Contribute to the research profile of the college through peer-reviewed publications.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of the Center.
• Serve as a student advisor.
• Teach courses in the area of expertise.

Qualifications

• + PhD Degree in Political Sciences**Languages**
• + Arabic (required)
• + English (required)**Experience**
• + PhD in Political Science
• + Associate Professor rank
• + Strong peer-reviewed publication record in a relevant discipline
• + Strong knowledge and experience with qualitative research design (collecting, recording, and analyzing data)
• + Strong knowledge in preparing research proposals and submitting funding applications
• + Teaching experience at the tertiary level
• + Service to the profession, including evidence of journal reviewing, grant refereeing, and academic promotion refereeing
• + Familiarity with educational technologies used in higher education
• + Awareness of working with people from diverse backgrounds
• + Excellent written and oral communication skills

Academic

• A three-year renewable contract.
