Associate Product Manager (Apm)
to join our
Integrations Squad
, focused on building and improving
accounting integrations
.
This is a
junior, entry-level product role
designed for someone early in their career.
Youu2019ll work closely with experienced product managers and engineers to learn how to build integrations and ship impactful features.
You wonu2019t be expected to have all the answers but you will be expected to
learn quickly, take ownership of small problems, and grow into larger responsibilities over time
.
Key Responsibilities
- Support
- product discovery
- by gathering insights from customer conversations, support tickets, and internal feedback
- Regularly engage with customers (finance teams, accountants, and operators) to understand their workflows and pain points
- Assist in creating
- clear, user-friendly documentation
- , including help articles and integration guides
- Help plan and run
- training sessions and demos
- for internal teams (support, sales) and customers.
- Work closely with senior product managers to execute on defined priorities and features.
- Your focus will be on learning the domain, understanding users deeply, and delivering high-quality execution.
- Over time, youu2019ll build the context and skills needed to take on broader product ownership.
Product Discovery
- Conduct user interviews and gather feedback to surface unmet needs.
- Synthesize insights from customer calls, support data, and usage patterns
- Help define and prioritize problems worth solving before jumping to solutions
- Collaborate on opportunity sizing and validating assumptions early
Learn & Work On Integrations
- Develop an understanding of how integrations work (APIs, data syncing, workflows)
- Learn how accounting systems handle data like invoices, payments, and ledgers
- Help investigate and troubleshoot integration issues
Work Closely With Customers & Support
- Review support tickets and identify common issues
- Join customer calls or internal discussions to understand real problems
- Help document workflows and common edge cases
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work with product managers, engineers, design, and support teams
- Communicate updates clearly and ask questions when things are unclear
- Stay organized and follow through on assigned tasks.
Must-Haves
- 1u20132 years of experience (product, engineering, consulting, or fresh graduate with relevant internships)
- Exposure to APIs, integrations, or SaaS products
- Strong problem-solving and willingness to learn
- Good communication and ability to ask clear questions
- Attention to detail and ability to follow through
Nice-To-Haves (Not Required)
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts
- Familiarity with tools like Postman, Excel/Sheets, or SQL
- Previous internship in a startup or tech environment.
- Fluency in speaking and writing in Arabic
