The Associate Product Manager – Adult Vaccines is a key member of the Adult Vaccines team, supporting the strategic planning and execution of integrated campaigns and initiatives across the Gulf region.

The role focuses on delivering the business objectives and growth ambition for our adult vaccine portfolio, including preparation for and support of new launches, and effective navigation of evolving internal and external commercial dynamics.

Key responsibilities

  • Brand and commercial strategy
  • Support the development and execution of annual marketing and sales plans for Gulf markets, including launch plans, achievement of brand KPIs, identification of new customer/product segments, and enhancement of brand performance and image.*
  • Monitor product performance (lead and lag indicators) on a monthly basis and drive timely corrective actions in close collaboration with the Business Unit Manager, first-line sales leaders, and the sales team.*
  • Lead and deliver multi-channel activity plans, creating and optimizing promotional and educational materials that support market access, competitive differentiation, and evidence-based customer engagement.
  • **Stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration**
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant scientific societies and key external experts to support appropriate vaccine use and patient care across the region.*
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional colleagues (e.g.
  • Medical, Market Access, Supply, Commercial, Compliance) and other stakeholders to generate actionable insights, optimize performance, and support the growth ambition for the product.*
  • Contribute to forecasting and supply planning for the product, working closely with Supply and Customer & Trading Cell (CTC) teams to help ensure continuity of supply to meet patient needs.
  • **Market, access and performance management**
  • Maintain a strong understanding of dynamic reimbursement and access structures and support practical solutions for patient access in close collaboration with Medical and Access teams.*
  • Lead the collection, processing and analysis of competitor intelligence in the relevant markets and support the development of appropriate responses to maintain a competitive edge.*
  • Consolidate key metrics (weekly/monthly/quarterly) and review KPI/measurement frameworks to provide timely, actionable insights that inform decisions and drive business outcomes.*
  • Support the development and use of dashboards (e.g. patient recruitment, consumption dynamics) to track progress, highlight issues and propose solutions.
  • **Resource and governance responsibilities**
  • Manage and control promotional A&P budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation, profitability, and adherence to approved spend limits.*
  • Prioritize efforts and resources through robust market segmentation and targeting to optimize activities.*
  • Ensure all expenses are maintained within budgets and resources are used efficiently.
  • **Compliance and governance**
  • Build and maintain up-to-date knowledge of GSK policies, procedures, codes and local laws/regulations, and ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with these requirements.*
  • Implement and adhere to governance processes, including appropriate review and approval of materials and activities, in line with internal and external standards.*
  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders based on trust, openness and transparency, consistently role-modelling integrity and ethical behavior.
  • **Scope and accountability**
  • Support the commercial performance of assigned vaccine products across designated Gulf markets, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.*
  • Contribute to business plans via structured market analysis, identification of root causes and implications, and timely follow-up and execution to achieve agreed KPIs.*
  • Support the delivery of annual brand plan objectives with a strong focus on operational excellence and distinctive, agile customer experiences that build product loyalty.*
  • Work closely with the Adult Vaccines team (HCP and patient focus) and the Sales team to ensure alignment and coordinated execution.
  • **Basic qualifications**
  • We are looking for professionals with the following required skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g. medicine, pharmacy, life sciences, management, marketing, engineering or related areas).*
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.*

Experience

  • working in a matrix organization and managing relationships with HCPs, key institutions, professional associations, decision-makers and other key stakeholders.*
  • Strong track record of performance and delivery in current or previous roles, with resilience, self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.*
  • High commitment to ethical, values-based conduct and alignment with GSK’s expectations.*
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • **Preferred qualifications**

Experience

in vaccines and/or cardiovascular metabolic disease therapeutic areas.*

Experience

  • delivering marketing projects for recently launched products.*
  • Comprehensive understanding of vaccine business dynamics, country-specific requirements, and relevant HCP and patient groups.
