Associate Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Facilitate the full cycle of procurement processes including conducting RFQs, price updates to the ERP system, and ensuring payment process to vendors.
• Support the Directs procurement team in keeping accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct data gathering exercises, reviewing supplier transactions and spend.
• Support the Vendor Registration/Update Process and Vendor Credit form applications.
• Update all certificates for suppliers that have expired or will expire.
• Update all overdue Proprietary Information Agreements for suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a procurement or administrative role.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Presentation skills necessary to professionally represent to the supplier.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and interact professionally with managers and subject matter experts.
