Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the corporate in-house legal environment and the types of legal matters handled by the legal division.
• Draft, review, revise, and manage routine legal documents, agreements, and correspondence, ensuring legal accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
• Provide legal support and guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual, corporate, governance, and commercial matters within delegated authority.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions, reports, and summaries to support decision-making processes.
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks arising from business activities, projects, and contractual arrangements.
• Support the review and administration of corporate governance documents, including Articles of Association, by-laws, Board and Committee Charters, resolutions, powers of attorney, and related corporate records.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate the timely completion of legal transactions and compliance requirements.
• Support legal compliance initiatives and contribute to maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance requirements, and internal policies.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management commensurate with the level of the position.
• Experience and Qualifications
• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a legal role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a foundational understanding of legal principles and practices, with a focus on corporate, contractual, and compliance matters.
• Work Environment and Location
• This full-time position is based in Dhahran and Al Jubail. The Legal Associate will work within a collaborative legal team, engaging with various internal departments and external parties to achieve legal and business objectives.
