About the Role

As an IT Audit Associate, you will join a team of professionals delivering Technology Risk services across a diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of IT General Controls (ITGCs) including logical access, change management, IT operations, and backup and recovery procedures.
  • Support the evaluation of application controls and automated business process controls across client systems
  • Participate in client walkthroughs to understand system processes, data flows, and the IT control environment
  • Gather, organize, and verify audit evidence in line with firm methodology and professional standards
  • Prepare clear and well-structured workpapers that accurately document procedures performed, evidence obtained, and conclusions reached
  • Assist in drafting findings and observations for review by senior team members
  • Support follow-up on open audit findings and track progress of remediation actions
  • Learning and Development
  • Develop a working understanding of key IT audit frameworks including COBIT, NIST, and ISO 27001 and how they apply to client engagements
  • Build foundational knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and how IT controls operate within these environments
  • Stay current with emerging technology topics including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics as they relate to audit and assurance
  • Actively pursue professional development and work towards a relevant certification (CISA or equivalent)
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and team initiatives as you develop your expertise
