Associate Engineer/Technician

About This Role

We are looking for Field Technicians responsible for installing and maintaining home internet connections at customer premises. This role involves on-site work and requires hands-on experience in telecom or fiber installation.

Job Title: Associate Engineer/Technician

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: 5000-7000 AED

Key Responsibilities:

• Install broadband, fiber (FTTH), and telecom services at customer locations
• Perform cable laying, routing, and basic network setup (modem/router installation)
• Conduct site visits for installation, troubleshooting, and service activation
• Ensure proper connectivity and service quality as per standards
• Handle basic fault diagnosis and resolve connectivity issues
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors for service completion
• Maintain daily work reports and update job status

Requirements:

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Electrical / Electronics / Telecom or related field
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in telecom, broadband, or fiber installation
• Experience in FTTH / fiber cabling / network installation preferred
• Ability to work in field and handle multiple site visits
• Basic understanding of routers, modems, and cabling
• Good communication and customer-handling skills

Additional Information:

• Candidates with experience in ISP / telecom field services are preferred
• Must be willing to work on-site and travel within assigned areas
