Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Associate Engineer (Fire Protection) (Saudi National) to join our team!
In this role you are expected to interface, coordinate, collaborate and communicate with other Section and Department staff, private developers and their consultants, construction contractors and other team members within the Royal Commission of Yanbu.
You will get to report to the Senior Fire Protection Specialist Section Manager and Department Manager.
This position will be within the Private Projects Section of the Projects Management Department.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist in reviewing project design documents to ensure that all privately developed projects comply with applicable codes, regulations, standards and laws.
- Inspects the final systems after they are constructed to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, standards and laws.
- Coordinates activities with other departments within the Royal Commission of Yanbu and external developers, their design consultants and their contractors/subcontractors.
- Assists in research and analyzing data such as design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility and compliance of design or application.
- Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Consistently demonstrates professional skills in structuring assigned activities, creativity, teamwork, communications, operational efficiencies, handling of a client's changing needs, decision making, and analyzing and solving problems.
- Participate in other fire Safety activities such as:
- Conducting fire protection surveys.
- Making fire risk analysis.
- Participate in fire safety educational and training activities.
- Excellent teamwork, problem solving and consensus building skills.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
